Balloting was held for interested participants to express their preference between three possible venues for ROW-8 to be held on May 2008. The options were:
Option-1: East-West Center, University of Hawaii, Honolulu, Hawaii
Option-2: Holiday Inn (or possibly Marriott), Key Largo, Florida
Option-3: Pearl of the Pacific, Boracay Resort, Philippines
